Subject: I don't normally like to post reviews on my own items, but this one....
....This is a very unusual telecasts. I mean, it's so unexpected.

In this episode, Molly and her family prepare to attend temple service at sundown, but trouble starts when Uncle David learns that his granddaughter is sick, and Jake has problems finding suitable clothes due to a mistake by the dry cleaners.. The last few minutes of this episode consists of them at the service. (I think...been a few weeks since I've seen this so I might be wrong with this description),

While the episode contains the usual commercials for Rybutol, At the end of the episode, Molly does not do her usual plug for the sponsor (a christmas episode of "The Perry Como Show" does a similar approach...).

Early television (which lasts up to August 1956) has many surprises and this is one of them. This episode aired live on the now-defunct DuMont Network, which is remembered for producing low-budget yet popular series like "Life is Worth Living" and "Captain Video". "The Goldbergs", which had previously run on CBS and NBC, only spent 6 months on the network, presumably due to the poor financial situation of the network. It largely ceased operations during the summer of 1955, but technically their final telecast was on 6 August 1956.
